Update Jan 2021
During the current lockdown, all indoor classes remain cancelled but we are able to hold 1-2-1 sessions outdoors with social distancing. We also continue to offer online classes and individual sessions.
While the UK is in a temporary lockdown until 2nd December 2020, only formal education and training is permitted to take place therefore our training classes will be suspended until this lockdown is lifted. We will continue to offer 1-2-1 sessions outdoors as well as online Zoom calls.
Outdoor 1-2-1’s will take place in local parks and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Further guidance with Tiered Local Lockdowns now in place however in all tiers, training and education may continue with our current Covid secure arrangements in place. We will continue to practice social distancing at our indoor venue, all door handles are reguarly disinfected, face coverings must be worn and anti bacterial gel is available on entry and exit.
New Guidance was issued by the Government on 22nd September but this has no bearing on our training classes or lessons therefore we will continue with our Covid secure arrangements as before. The link can be found HERE
From Monday 14 September, government advice regarding Covid-19 states that when meeting friends and family you do not live with (or have formed a support bubble with) you must not meet in a group of more than 6, indoors or outdoors.
There are several exceptions where groups can be larger than 6 people and the first of these are:
- for work, or the provision of voluntary or charitable services
- registered childcare, education or training
Group classes are a form of training, for dog owners as well as their dogs. This means that while social distancing measures are of paramount importance (and face coverings will need to be worn during indoor classes in Leyland) our training sessions can continue in a Covid secure manner. Please follow this link for the further details.
